W.I.N. Columbus

A ministry of East End Baptist Church

Witnessing In Neighborhoods

East End Baptist Church believes in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission which were both given to us by Jesus.
The Great Commandment was given in Matthew 22 when He said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Jesus gave the Great Commission in Matthew 28 when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

W.I.N. Columbus is designed to carry out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in our surrounding community.

Each W.I.N. Columbus mission team is composed primarily of East End Baptist Church members and friends whose hope for salvation is in Jesus Christ.

The W.I.N. Columbus strategy is to encourage Christians to leave the security of the church’s walls and go into the community sharing the gospel. We do this through on-site activities such as back yard Bible clubs, mission VBS (Vacation Bible School), and neighborhood block parties.

W.I.N. Columbus teaches the Bible is true and trustworthy, Jesus is the Son of God, He died for our sins of the world, and eternal salvation comes through Jesus alone.
